Tour Itynerary Trekk In Kerinci
Day 1 Padang – Kersik Tuo at Kerinci
Arrive at the airport of Padang, West Sumatra with flight… at… (please book morning flight) Upon arrival in Padang, we will fetch you and directly depart to Kersik Tuo. Our driver will welcome you upon arrival at the airport hold the sign board under your name.
Impressive route via Solok and along the twin lake Diatas and lake Dibawah. On the way you will also stop at Talun Barasap waterfall.
Arrive in Kersik Tuo and overnight stay in a simple accomodation in Kersik Tuo in the famous Kerinci nature reserve.
Overnight stay in Subandy Homestay (simple) in Kersik Tuo
Remarks:
Acomodation in Kersik Tuo is basic, situated at the opposite of huge tea plantation.
The room is quite small and bathroom comes with a basin of cold water. No restaurant facility but the owner can provide meals usually rice plus dishes and noodle soup.
Day 2 Kersik Tuo (trekking to mount Kerinci)
After breakfast you will be drop at the starting point where you start climb the mount Kerinci, is the highest volcano in Indonesia and the highest peak on the island of Sumatra.
It is surrounded by the lush forest of Kerinci Seblat National Park, home to the endangered species of Sumatran Tiger and Sumatran Rhinoceros.
After arranged a permit then you start trek to the Shelter II for around 6 hrs. Here is the campsite for overnight at the volcano.
Lunch and dinner are included and arranged by your local guide.
Day 3 Trekking to mount Kerinci – back to Kersik Tuo
The local guide will prepare breakfast you. Your activity today is the the obligatory photographs where you will enjoy the spectacular panorama from the top of the volcano.
After that you return to Kersik Tuo which is take around 3-4 hrs trekking.
Overnight stay in Subandy Homestay (simple) in Kersik Tuo.
Day 4 Kersik Tuo – Padang / 6 – 7 hrs drive
After breakfast you drive back to Padang through the twin lake of Danau Diatas and Danau Dibawah.
In the afternoon arrive in Padang, is the largest city in the western coast of Sumatra, Indonesia and the capital of West Sumatra province.
Overnight stay in hotel Grand Mercure in Padang (deluxe).
Day 5 Padang – airport / 45 minutes
Today you will be transferred to the airport of Padang for catch your flight to next destination. End of your trip through us.
